Officer: Vendulka Kubalkova

Professor of International Studies Director of MAIA, Assistant Provost for University-Wide International Studies, University of Miami, Florida, USA. She wrote extensively (8 books) on Marxism, IR theory, Constructivism. Her books on Teaching Religion and IR in a Constructed World will be published in 2009 by M.E.Sharpe.

Under Kubalkova's direction, the MAIA program is one of the first MA programs including a study of world religions as a factor of IR. Professor Kubalkova coined the phrase, “International Political Theology.”
